This mid-summer foraging walk will enable you to experience the abundant hedges and coastline in a whole new way. We will gather together to celebrate and learn about nature together; taste, touch, smell, see and explore with our senses the generous diversity of shapes, colours and flavours that our environment provides us.
Level of Walk:Â Approximately 2 miles, including across fields, footpaths, rocks, onto the beach, down (then up again) slopes and steps.
Summer foraging course with tasters, what to expect;
- Be guided on a 2 mile walk, includes footpaths, road and stiles
- Get to experience Cornish hedges and the coast in a new way
- Be introduced to the ancient craft of foraging
- Enjoy wild tasters - foraged drinks OR food, handmade for the event
- Rediscover the satisfying, feel good factor of gathering your own wild food
- Connect to like-minded people and enjoy the outdoors together
- Experience a foraging walk and learn to identify up to 8 wild foods

Meet: Bottom right corner of the National Trust Cape Cornwall Car Park, Cape Cornwall, St Just, West Cornwall, TR19 7NN
Transport and Parking: There is a pay and display car park, which is free to National Trust members. Buses from Penzance (then a 20 minute walk from St Just) and from St Ives, depending on the season.
Min/Max numbers:Â 5-12 adults. You are welcome to come alone or with others.
