Need a reason to get outside with others in Winter?

Want to discover the delights of dandelion roots for your body, mind and soul?

What to expect on a dandelion forage and dig event

This is the simplest dandelion forage and dig event I offer. Timed with the colder, darker months, we simply spend 2 hours together on the land getting to know dandelions through the hands on experience of finding, digging and learning together. It's fun, refreshing, rewarding, resilience building and you'll appreciate the comforts of the indoors even more afterwards!

  • A short walk to the site we'll dig together
  • Time outdoors with others
  • Hot dandelion drinks to keep us warm and happy!
  • Discover the health benefits of dandelion roots from promoting good gut bacteria to helping to detox the body
  • Time together digging up dandelion roots in a respectful and nature-friendly way
  • Go away with your own roots to process and enjoy in drinks and food
  • Opportunity to buy copies of Rachel's foraging books.

Who is this event for? Anyone* wanting to share time in nature with others, learn about wild food and do a physical activity together. This day will be both active and reflective and involves time outside to help build resilience and good feelings in the winter months.

*Each course I have 2 'pay what you can places'. If the price inhibits you from attending and means you won't be able to pay for life's essentials, please get in touch. Honesty expected, no questions asked.
