The calendar is regularly updated, so do check again for new dates and events. To find out my availability for private walks or events, please contact me Booking is advisable as events are popular and numbers are limited.

TO BOOK
Please contact me, with the name of the event, number of places and contact details. Your place/s will then be reserved until I receive full payment.
The full amount should be received by 1 week before the walk/event, otherwise your place may by allocated to someone else. *In the case of last minute bookings payment can be made on the day.

Cancellations
If for any reason you need to cancel, please do so 7 days in advance in order to receive a full reimbursement, payments after this date will not be reimbursed. In the unlikelihood of the event/walk being cancelled you will be reimbursed in full or can choose to transfer your payment to an alternative event/walk.

HEDGEROW AND COASTAL WILD FOOD WALK

A circular walk across shrub land and along the coastal path. A wide range of edible foods in the hedgerows! Walk will cover 10 different edible plants.

Expect to have your senses assulted by the beautiful views and range of tastes and smells.

Plants covered (subject to seasonal availability): Gorse, common sorrel, nettles, sow thistle, penny wort, silverweed, daisies, chickweed, violets, 3-cornered leek, sea cabbage, alexanders, vetch, sloe, ribwort and greater plantain, wild thyme, tree mallow, sea beet, plus seaweeds.


Level of walk: Short walk, coastal path is steep and narrow in places.

SEAWEED & SEASHORE WILD FOOD WALK

If you enjoy splashing about and looking in Rock Pools you'll love this walk!
Please wear wellies, or expect to get wet!

We'll be wondering out at low tide to gaze at the various seaweeds and coastal edible plants around. I will teach you how to identify, use and enjoy some of these delicious and nutritious sea vegetables.


Level of walk: Flat, some walking on the beach, short distances - expect to get wet!
Meeting Point: Outside Jordans Cafe, Long Rock (along the seafront between Marazion and Penzance.

COASTAL & SEASHORE WILD FOOD WALK

**This walk is timed with the low tide so we can seaweeds and seashore wild foods

A popular walk onto the beach, and high cliff tops, Abundant with wild food and wildlife, they’ll be time to seal watch, as well as go onto the beach to identify seashore wild foods.

Please note: The National Trust have kindly allowed us to use this sight as a teaching ground only. They have asked that we do not forage here.

Will include at least 10 plants (dependant on season and availability), these may include: Elder, sea beet, silver weed, fat hen, common orache, tree mallow, common mallow, wild mint, gut weed, bladder wrack, winkles, laver, kelps, dulse, irsh moss (carragean), common sorrel, alexanders, gorse, plantains, rock somphire, common scurvy grass and much more...

Level of walk: Appriximately 2 miles, includes crossing some rocks to reach the beach, steps, and a steep-ish walk up to the cliff tops. Can be windy as is exposed.

Find out about edible leaves, berries, nuts and seeds growing in hedgerows and fields. You’ll return home inspired with new skills to identify edible plants, plus some tasty recipe ideas too. You’ll never look at a hedgerow in the same way again!

The second of 6 Saturday afternoons to explore the body, from the inside, to help improve body-awareness, health, vitality, and fullness in body, mind, emotions & spirit.

About this Workshop: SKIN
The skin is out primary boundary with the world, providing protection, containment and potential for pleasure.

Making contact with our skin can help to build a healthy relationship with ourselves, others & our environment – assisting our skin to let go of toxins and let in what’s nutritious for us – whether that’s people, food or place.

Each workshop will combine science & intuition to offer an experiential approach to the body. Explore the mind-body connection using touch, movement & body-awareness. Images, partner work, individual work and group focus will be used.
