Forage and Harvest Day: Gorse
"A nature meditation for doers"
Learn about the amazing qualities of gorse through foraging together with an experienced wild food guide. This day event celebrates gorse, both culinary uses and wildlife benefits. Come and join us walking, tasting, foraging, sharing and recalibrating ourselves through time in nature, with like-minded people.
We have permission to do this at a quiet, rewilding site and will walk to the destination together.




Itinerary:
10.15am Leisurely walk to our wild spot, enjoying nature along the way (1-1.5 miles)
11am Arrive to gorse drinks
11.20am Learn about some of the amazing qualities of gorse, how and why to pick it. Dive into the
process of foraging gorse together
1pm Lunch (bring your own packed lunch), they'll be gorse infused treats too.
1.30pm Reflections from the day and what next.
2pm Walk back to our starting point.
2.45pm End. Opportunity to buy signed copies of Rachel’s books



Who is this event for? Anyone who enjoys time in nature with others. You will need to be to
comfortably walk 3-4 miles over the day, including stiles and uneven ground. The itinerary is loose,
with time to relax as well as do and will flex to meet the needs of the group and individuals.
What to bring and wear: Please read what to bring notes. You will need thick gloves in addition to this and an email will be sent out with more details a few days before the event.
Meet: 3 miles from Penzance, destination given on booking
Min/Max numbers: 5-12 adults. You are welcome to come alone or with others.
