NEW Pocket Book: Wild Food Foraging in Devon
It's here! A little book (perfect for taking out with you) focused on foraging in the diverse county of Devon. This is where my foraging journey truly began, so I'm delighted to write a book based on the wild foods available here.
What's in the Wild Food Foraging in Devon book?
18 wild edible plants, 29 step-by-step recipes and over 100 photographs! A mixture of coastal, hedgerow, woodland and moorland plants. From rowan berries (featured on the front cover) to wood sorrel, garlic mustard, rock samphire, sea spinach, gorse, wild garlic, sloes, alexanders and much more...
It has a seasonal chart and new recipes that I've never shared before. The main feature is my Savoury Wild Garlic Cream Tea - which has got to be experienced!
Created as part of a pocket series, along with; Wild Food Foraging in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and Seaweed Foraging in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. These foraging books compliment each other perfectly!
Filled with simple recipes and packed with information to help the new and experienced forager. This book also provides information on foraging sustainably and working sensitively with nature.
Where can I buy it?
Available in all good bookshops (or they can order it in for you) and from here on my website book page. If you're a retailer, you can also purchase direct from the publisher: Tormark.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Additional recipes featured are; Rock Samphire salsa verde, Sorrel butter and Blackberry seeded granola.
