FORAGE, COOK, EAT and EXPLORE
1 INGREDIENT: 3 DISHES
(Alexanders will be combined with other ingredients to do this!)
Alexanders (Smyrnium olusatrum) is a fantastic plant related to celery and angelica. We will make 3 to 4 different dishes to taste, eat and take away. I’ve had a lot of success at using it in cooking and learnt several lessons along the way!
This is a new course for 2018, and will include;
> Short foraging walk to collect our wild ingredient
> Tuition on plant picking (best parts), preparation, storage, preserving
> Shared lunch (includes Alexanders)
> Cooking demonstrations
> Cooking sessions with guidance
> Dishes to take home
