Transform weeds into many Useful Things!

Nettles have long been cursed as an invasive weed and for their nasty sting. However, nettles are an amazingly valuable and useful plant. Over the centuries they have been used as a nutritious food, made into clothing, for string and rope making, green manure, shampoo and hair tonic to name a few.

On a Nettle Day you could choose to make some of the following (all from nettles);

  • Soup
  • Pesto
  • Shampoo
  • String
  • Green Manure
  • Beer
  • Cordial

Available for small groups, families, schools, etc.
