Nature awareness is a way of living more in harmony with ourselves, others and all beings. It can be a simple task of balancing rest and action, connecting more to the seasons, or a deeper sense of purpose and connection to all of life. In our, often, busy and isolated lives, modern lifestyles can take us away from our instincts, natural rhythms and inherent wisdom that is given to all living things. This can result in mental, physical and emotional dis-ease, including feeling isolated and fatigued.

"We need to value ourselves and each other and the kingdoms upon which our lives totally depend. Without the animals, the plants and the insects, we have no existence" (Leo Rutherford, Urban Shaman)

Spending time in nature, and using 'Nature Awareness' techniques, helps bring back a sense of well-ness, connection and vitality through using a range of techniques, exercises and games to increase our awareness. The approach of nature awareness can align us with our natural birth-right of living well and healthy lives alongside each other as the nature-made beings that we are.
