Nature Awareness - What is this?

'In human nature we have this eternal conflict of not finding harmony. ...We have a chance to live in harmony on this Earth but we must choose to take it' Modern Sage, Chungliang Al Huang

Nature Awareness is far more than just looking at wildlife, plants or the scenery. It is a process of acknowledging the interconnected-ness of all living things, and awakening to the beauty of the natural world, both within and around us. Nature Awareness has the benefits of improving our relationship to ourselves, others and the world around us.

Through a series of different exercises, focuses, and quality time in nature you'll be amazed what is revealed. You may start to notice the subtle as well as the magnificence, the magic as well as the mundane, or the messages, signs and teachings in nature if you only know how to look.

Techniques that maybe used;

  • story-telling
  • peripheral and focal vision
  • meditation
  • body-awareness
  • physical exercises
  • games
  • sensory exercises
  • creativity
  • self-reflection
  • group reflection
